A second victim of the Fenet-Throckmorton natural gas explosions has died, The Dallas Morning News reported Wednesday.

Arthur Bryson, 57, died Monday in an acute care facility in Dallas.

Bryson’s death is not the first. In July, another blast victim, Nancy Foster, died. The third victim, Raul Moreno, was released from professional care after spending about a month in the hospital.

On May 16, utilitiy workers accidentally bored into a pipeline that leaked gas into homes near Throckmorton and Fenet streets. The gas ignited and several explosions ensued, sending three victims to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas with severe burn injuries.

After investigating the accident, the Texas Railroad Commission cited Atmos Energy and M.J. Sheridan for infractions that could result in civil fines totaling $80,000.

Criminal charges are unlikely. A grand jury chose not to return indictments last month.
