McKinney Christian Academy has been blessed with many talented students who have been recognized in numerous venues this school year. MCA’s fine arts, athletic and academic programs have benefitted from the amazing talents of its students.

The MCA yearbook staff’s hard work was recognized with a gold medal from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, as well as the First Place Award at the Association of Christian Schools International competition.

This year’s music program has been blessed by the outstanding talent of Bekah Parker, who recently made the All-Region Choir for the Texas Private School Music Educators Association.  She was ranked in the top twenty sopranos in the state of Texas.

MCA is also pleased to announce that two of its athletes have recently been recognized.  Thomas LeBlanc was voted as second team all state defensive back in TAPPS Division Four, and Tanner Purdum was recognized as the Community Action Athlete for the month of December by the North Texas Tollway Authority for his community service, academics and athletic accomplishments.

MCA is also proud to recognize three of its students Ryan Haltom, Marshall Woodruff and Scott Zook, as having been awarded the ranking of Eagle Scout.  The students received this award at a ceremony held in December.

“We congratulate these students for all their hard work and awards” said Keith Bollinger, Upper School Principal. “McKinney Christian Academy has many talented students, and we are so pleased to see them recognized for their efforts.”
