Softball Scoreboard: North's Collings Dominates
The playoff-bound McKinney North softball team beat Denison on Wednesday night 4-0.
For the second time this season Lindsay Collings pitched a perfect game, allowing no hits or walks.
The defense played great behind her as the team improved its record to 21-8 on the season, 9-4 in District 9-4A.
Vanessa Baeza led the offense with two hits and scored twice. Amy Kilpatrick added two doubles to the offensive effort and Haley Wagner and Marissa San Miguel each had a hit and scored in the victory.
The Lady Dawgs play their last district game Friday at Frisco Wakeland.
