MNHS Adds Percussion Instructor, Zac Robason, To Band Staff
Zac Robason has joined the McKinney North High School staff as the percussion instructor for the MNHS Band. Robason kicked off his tenure in July with a week-long training camp for the drumline.
Robason is a recent graduate of Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Prior to becoming the percussion instructor at McKinney North, he was a drumline section leader and snare section leader for Texas Christian University, a drumline instructor for the Spokane Thunder Drum and Bugle Corps in DCI (Drum Corps International), and the drumline instructor at Western Hills High School and South Hills High School in Fort Worth.
Robason enjoys performing with various groups at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) and having the opportunity to practice all the time. He is looking forward to teaching and watching his drumline students progress as they become mature musicians.
