MCA Cheerleaders Take Top Honors

Waco Trip A Good One For MCA

McKinney Christian Academy’s football games will be filled with plenty of spirit this year due to the varsity cheerleading squad, which earned top honors at the NCA Cheerleading Camp over the summer in Waco. 

MCA cheerleaders were awarded first place in game day competition, the Spirit Stick Award and the Spot Award for safety and stunting. Alec Overn, MCA sophomore and squad captain, took two all-American nominations for the all American team and team leadership.

The varsity squad was a top performer this year receiving a bid to the National competition.
